“ This is one of the most unique restaurants I’ve ever been to. It is really worth the road to get here but probably unsuitable for very large vehicles! Guys working here are great and you really feel looked after and the food is incredible! You must come here - I needn’t say anymore. ”
“ We had Amanda and Aart and their team cater my daughter’s wedding in Kinlochewe. They provided food on arrival day, beautifully presented and arranged so that we could serve as needed, as well as rehearsal dinner and the wedding banquet. The food was impeccable, the table settings lovely, and their interaction with us all were absolute highlights for everyone (we didn’t realize we were getting stand up comedy too!). They were so easy to work with, even from the States. I regret we were not able to go to the restaurant as we were there after they closed for the season, but I know it would be a great experience. ”
“ Visited this evening for our first dinner in the highlands - absolutely fantastic. We are both vegetarians and had a wonderful meal. I actually had probably the most delicious curry I’ve had in a restaurant ever (and I’ve had a lot) - who would’ve thought it would be here! My boyfriend had the vegetarian haggis burger which he said was lovely too. The feta and watermelon salad houmous and homemade bread we had for starter was perfect, as was the homemade sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The service was friendly, the surroundings were gorgeous, even if the drive wasn’t for the faint hearted, it was absolutely worth it. Definitely book a table if you’re in this neck of the woods! Lovely little place with food to die for, that will surprise you. ”

The starters (a house salad w/ brie, cullen skink) were already very promising and the main courses only confirmed the first impression :-) The vegetable curry my wife had was indisputably the best we ever had. I chose the scallops and was very, very pleased with my choice: perfectly cooked to the point and together with the black pudding a feast for the senses. And all of this in an incredibly picturesque setting. Not exactly easy to reach, but definitely worth the trip! ”

So remote, winding over the lochs and mountains until you drop down into Diabeg. Delicious home cooked food by the fire and real family vibe! ”
